Description

This is a tea time snack. It is very easy to prepare. You need very ripe bananas. You should prepare the dough 8 hours ahead. This is a Mangalorean delicacy. The actually do it with all purpose flour or maida.

Ingredients

Serves : 2
  • 1 cup wheat flour.


  • 1/2 cup curd.


  • 1 teaspoon jeera seeds


  • 2 ripe bananas


  • 1 pinch of baking soda


  • 2 teaspoon sugar


  • 1/2 to 1 teaspoon black salt

Directions

  • Smash the bananas well to form a paste
  • Now add curd, wheat flour, sugar and salt.
  • Now add jeera seeds. You can add 2 to 3 teaspoon of water to make the right texture of the flour.
  • Now add baking soda. Now add a teaspoon of oil over the dough. Leave this dough covered with a moist cloth for 8 hours.
  • Now make small balls of the wheat flour and then roll them into thick and flat pooris.
  • Now heat sunflower oil in a kadai and when hot fry the pooris. You will get fluffy banana wheat buns.
